As a Production Technician (m/f/d) in Tool Preparation, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tools are properly prepared and available for production. You play a key role in making sure that everything is ready on time to support a smooth manufacturing process.
In this position, you will work closely with both the production team and the CAM programming team, contributing directly to the efficiency and quality of our operations.

THE POSITION
Your Responsibilities
- You monitor and manage the tool inventory (cutters, inserts, and other consumables in tool preparation)
- You place tool orders based on consumption data, using our internal ordering system
- You assemble tools for production orders and ensure their timely availability
- You measure and set up tools precisely, according to technical specifications
- You inspect used tools for condition and reusability
- You store tools properly, disassemble them, or dispose of them when necessary
- You collaborate closely with colleagues in production as well as with the CAM programming team
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed a technical apprenticeship (e.g. as a machinist, industrial mechanic, or a comparable qualification)
- You have experience in tool management, machining, or CNC manufacturing
- You have a good technical understanding of tools, cutting materials, and machining processes
- You work in a structured, reliable, and careful way
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and good organizational skills
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented way
- You have good English skills; German skills are a plus
